The extension faculty and staff in the department of Crop and Soil Sciences work together with extension and applied research programs in Plant Pathology (Gary Bergstrom), Plant Breeding and Genetics (Margaret Smith), Entomology (Elson Shields), Animal Science (Quirine Ketterings), and Integrated Pest Management (Keith Waldron), and the PRODAIRY program (Karl Czymmek, Curt Gooch) to provide leadership and coordination for integrated field crop management in New York State.
